Home was built with contractor grade, single pane windows that had broken down years ago.  The natural tendency for aluminum windows to expand and contract and the natural movement of this home had caused the windows to begin to "bow" into or out of the home.  Besides the windows being old and inefficient, the existing solar screens made each room much darker than the homeowner would like. Rising utility costs made window replacement an easy decision.

We installed locally made Energy Efficient Windows with a Lifetime Warranty.  Vinyl Windows will follow the natural movement of this home and because vinyl doesn't conduct heat or cold like the old Aluminum windows did, the seals of the new replacement windows will last much longer.  Although the new windows have a natural tint, caused by the amount of "low e" mixed into the glass to make it more energy efficient, they allow 90% of the suns light to pass while blocking almost 90% of the sun's heat (UV light).  These windows are insulated with a large gas filled space between the two panes of glass, making it much more efficient in the winter.  These windows will pay for themselves within 6 years with lowered utility costs and added value to the home.
