We installed locally made Energy Efficient Windows with a Lifetime Warranty.  Vinyl Windows will follow the natural movement of this home and because vinyl doesn't conduct heat or cold like the old Aluminum windows did, the seals of the new replacement windows will last much longer.  Although the new windows have a natural tint, caused by the amount of "low e" mixed into the glass to make it more energy efficient, they allow 90% of the suns light to pass while blocking almost 90% of the sun's heat (UV light).  These windows are insulated with a large gas filled space between the two panes of glass, making it much more efficient in the winter.  The new replacement windows will pay for themselves within 6 years with lowered utility costs and added value to the home.
